In my web design class, we worked with Joseph Wolf Brewing on creating a new website design. We started out with research on Joseph Wolf including current content, competitors, social media, and current digital presence. After our research we came up with content recommendations as well as a new site structure. The next step was creating home page mock-ups which we narrowed down to four choices to show the client. The final step was to take the clients concept choice and create final mock-ups of all pages with the chosen design. We also came up with final social media recommendations as well as new technology recommendations.
This is a summary of the research done as a class including a current and future site map as well as future content recommendations.
Next in small groups we created wire-frame mock-ups according to our future site map.
After deciding on a wire-frame we each individually did a design mock-up and chose four to show the client. The client ended up choosing my design to move forward with so I worked with everyone else on making a cohesive diagnosis theme for the rest of the pages.
After the client chose the design direction we worked in groups to mock-up all of the other pages the client wanted.
Finally one team came up with technology and social media recommendations for the client going into the future.
